So you have a ticket for the opening match and other matches. Good and Congratulations!

However, before you jog along to the Stadium, read how to get to your seat easily and what you are NOT allowed to bring in with you during a match.

Start with taking a closer look at your ticket. There is a bar code on its reverse side – your pass to enter the Stadium. You will have to scan this code at the gate and the system will register your arrival. If you have a ticket that has been issued with a name of a different person on it, one that you have received as a gift or have bought from someone who had decided not to go to a match, you will probably wonder if you are not supposed to show your identity card at the entrance, or even an authorisation supplied by the person whose name is on the ticket. It’s OK. You will not be asked identify yourself, unless security, during a random control decide to check if you are not banned from entering the Stadium as part of the policy of no entry into the Stadium of rowdy and aggressive supporters. That is why it is advisable that you have some form of ID with you.

Examine your ticket once again. At the bottom, on the left there is information about where to find your place: which gate, which stand, which sector, row, block and place. Do not move around the Stadium using information communicated on the big screen/boards and you will avoid any unnecessary straying and getting lost in the tribunes. If you need any help to get to your place, do not hesitate to ask the stewards for directions. They are there to give directions.

You are about to head for the Stadium? You had better leave your car at home. Many of the streets surrounding the Stadium will be closed, so supporters should use public transport. A very useful piece of information: your ticket for the match is at the same time a valid public transport ticket free of any additional charges. So why not benefit from this and choose a means of transport and tram line which suits you best:

Trams: 7, 8, 9, 22, 24, 25, 77.
Buses: 102, 111, 117, 123, 127, 128, 131, 138, 146, 147, 158, 166, 171, 175, 198, 210, 422, 501, 507, 509, 517, 519, 520, 521, 525.
You can also take a train (SKM) to the Stadium. It is advisable, however, to check the timetable on the Internet in advance.

As soon as you arrive and pass through the gate, you will be searched. This is why you should leave any non permitted objects at home. You are not allowed to bring in any weapons (even an umbrella is classified as one). Alcohol, drugs, pyrotechnic and inflammable materials, recording and photographic equipment are also prohibited. In the two last points you can bring in small, non-professional cameras, these are not banned from the Stadium. You can also bring your mobile phone with camera to the Stadium.

UEFA does not allow the use of vuvuzelas during a match, so you will not be let in with your favourite supporter’s plastic horn. What else is included on the black list? Balaclavas covering all the face except eyes (you must be identifiable), flags inscribed with slogans that do not relate to the match (no racist slogans), and advertising/information material and leaflets. Security can also stop anyone who wants to enter carrying a big and clumsy object. What does this mean? A big object can be anything a supporter can think of, chairs, boxes, suitcases, folding chairs and big bags.

That’s it for the rules and bans. Last but not least, you should remember that you will be allowed into the Stadium as early as 3 hours before a match. This time margin will prevent a build up of spectators at the entrance to the Stadium. So, why not get started and set off for Stadium right now?
